I was just eating the pie i made last night, when it struck me that for the same reasons i love art I also love to produce baked goods. except in my head it sounded less superfical and rediculous as it does in words.
let me explain: both baking and art relive a pent up need to produce a result; the result of a collage spree is lots of peices, the result of a day in the kitchen is a cake. furthermore the results of those efforts are satifying. looking at all i've accomplished and my artistic expression in my gallery is satifying, so is pie.
further thoughts anyone?
